After a very successful weekend for two of our adult teams, our attention turns to Clon’s underage teams in action this week.
Tonight our U15s welcome Eire Og to Clonlara get the U15B championship started at 7pm. All club support would be appreciated for our U15s who were this year’s Feile B winners.
Congratulations to Grady Hogan and Colin Freeman who will lead the team this year.
Massive thanks to the U15s management and mentors:
Ger O’Connell (Manager)
Ger Hogan
Diarmuid Moriarty
Ciarán Caulfield
Ian Cullen
Eileen Gleeson
Michael Clancy
First aid: Niamh Gully
If you scan through that list of names, you’ll see that they’re all involved in some way with at least one other team or role in our club or in Truagh Camogie Club, and they’ve been working with the U15s for most of the last 8 months between Feile and championship preparation.
If you want to get something done ask a busy person, as the saying goes! But we are blessed with dedicated volunteers who make good things happen. Best of luck to all involved with the U15s tonight.
