CLONLARA GAA CLUBNOTES for 15 May 2024 

It’s a busy week once again for Clonlara teams, including matches this evening for our U13s and U18s Academy players and a blitz for our U9s against Doora-Barefield at 6:45pm. Wishing all the lads and their management teams the best of luck.

A huge thanks to Bobby Byrnes of Bobby Byrnes Painting and Decorating for the supplies and expertise in painting our dressing rooms. He had some young apprentices with him on the day, Fra Moloney and Johnny Murphy. It’s rumoured that Bobby himself is the first Ahane man to line out for Clonlara since the great Mick and John Mackey in 1929, but we will verify this  Thanks for your continued support Bobby 

A truly fantastic addition to our Field Committee is Cian Monahan  As many will know, Cian is a great lad, but he’s also a very hard worker and someone who will undoubtedly be a leader for our club in future.  Success in the GAA world is often measured by what happens on the pitch, but the behind-the-scenes work is what makes that success possible  Thanks Cian for volunteering to work with the Field Committee.
